JUDY C. JONES, CPA, MBA has over 25 years experience in public accounting, specializing in financial management issues for nonprofit organizations, providing clients with expertise in a variety of areas such as audits and financial reporting, grant organization and management, effective budget planning, cash flow management, internal control assessment, computerized accounting systems, strategic planning, and preparing financial data for fund raising. Judy has also developed and taught seminars and university courses in governmental and nonprofit financial management and frequently consult with nonprofit Boards on development issues.
Judy has a strong personal commitment to her clients and their causes and takes delight in applying her extensive business education background to nonprofit organizations.
Her background includes over five years with KPMG, three years with Moss Adams LLP as their director of Not-For-Profit Services Group, over 13 years managing her own CPA practice, three years teaching for the University of Alaska Southeast, Alaska, and speaking various other lectures on nonprofit accounting and management at University of Washington, Seattle University and Bellevue Community College.
Judy received an undergraduate degree in Accounting from Northern Arizona University and an MBA from the University of Alaska Southeast.

SCOTT WROBLEWSKI, CPA has over 10 years of experience in public accounting, working with a wide variety of nonprofit organizations. As an Audit and Tax Senior Manager, Scott oversees the audit and tax preparation process as well as providing consulting services relating to financial reporting, effective budget planning, cash flow management, internal control assessment, tax planning and board development. In the past Scott has also been a frequent speaker at various nonprofit conferences and internal trainings.
Scott’s passion for working with nonprofit organization’s began with his career at Moss Adams LLP and continued as the Vice President of Finance of the American Heart Association’s Western Region. Scott hales from Indiana and received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Indiana University. Currently, he most cherishes spending time with his wife and two daughters. Also in his limited spare time, he enjoys volunteering with a number of nonprofit organizations and staying active in tennis, basketball and soccer.

TRICIA DECHENNE has over nine years experience in finance and accounting, specializing in not-for-profit organizations. Her background includes over five years with Jacobson Jarvis and Company PLLC, where she served as an auditor and tax preparer for a variety of not-for-profit organizations. She has also served as the finance and human resource manager for several local non-profit organizations. Her areas of focus include federal and state tax issues, as well as internal control and Quickbooks consulting. Tricia graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in history and continued her accounting work at Central Washington University. She is a member of the Washington Society of CPAs not-for-profit committee, and the United Way of Snohomish County audit review committee. Tricia grew up in the Seattle area and enjoys spending as much time as possible with her husband, son and daughter. She also spends time volunteering her accounting skills to a variety of organizations her children are involved in.

JASON HUSTON has over four years experience in performing audits and tax preparation, working with a variety of businesses and organizations. He is a CPA candidate, which he plans to complete in the Spring of 2010. His background includes being an auditor and tax preparer at Moss Adams and DeCoria, Maichel & Teague in Spokane, and as an internal auditor for Western United Life Assurance Company and T-Mobile. Areas of expertise include overseeing all financial and accounting functions and operations of an organization, reviewing monthly financial statements for board presentations, and reviewing and improving internal control structures. Jason also has experience with analyzing financial records, researching unusual accounting issues, and providing accounting guidance to not-for-profit clients, as well as preparing a variety of tax forms, with a focus on the annual federal tax return form 990. Jason recently moved to the Seattle area from Spokane. He currently lives in the north Seattle area and is a volunteer tutor for a local elementary school. He received his Bachelor's Degree ain Business Administration from Eastern Washington University.

BOGDAN GEAMBASU, CPA, MBA, CIA Bogdan joined the Jones & Associates team in October 2009. He has over 6 years experience in finance and accounting, with an emphasis in working with nonprofit organizations. He started his career as a Senior Accountant for a CPA equivalent firm in Romania, providing accounting and consulting services to a variety of small and midsized companies. At Jones & Associates, his areas of expertise include federal, state and local tax issues and QuickBooks consulting. You'll also find Bogdan on various audit engagements, focused on internal control assessments. Bogdan and his wife, a Ph.D. student at the University of Washington, have lived in Seattle since 2005. He is actively helping several local nonprofit organizations with their accounting needs, an activity which he finds intriguing, challenging and rewarding.

DEBBIE PALMER, OFFICE MANAGER, has a very diverse work experience, reflecting her interests in both accounting and health & fitness. She has held such positions as Office Administrator for a property management company and Accounts Payable Specialist for a local seafood distributor, where she put her organizational and bookkeeping skills to good use. In addition, she has worked as a personal trainer and Lifetime Fitness Instructor, working primarily with seniors. Most recently she was both Fitness Director and Activities Director at a retirement community, where she taught fitness classes and organized activities, lectures, concerts, and outings, allowing her to use both her creativity and managerial skills. Debbie joined the Jones & Associates team in February 2008. She assists clients with scheduling and manages the firm’s daily operations.
Debbie lives in Seattle with her husband Michael and cat Tammy. She is a volunteer with several local nonprofit organizations and enjoys swing dancing, playing the accordion, collecting Mexican folk art, gardening, and bird watching. Debbie has a BS degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Washington.
